Syke's Point near Dandeli, Karnataka.

Syke's point is a beautiful view point in Ambikanagar, near Dandeli. To reach Dandeli from Bangalore, take the route: Bangalore-Tumkur-Chitradurga-Davangere-Haveri-Shiggaon which lie on the NH-4. Then, take a diversion at Shiggaon towards Tadas. Later, take the route: Tadas-Haliyal-Dandeli. Ambikanagar is 20km from Dandeli. Direct entry to Syke's point is restricted. You can get the permission from KPC in Ambikanagar. Syke's point provides you a view of your lifetime ( in monsoons). Misted mountains, muddy river Kali and a power generation station, makes it a sight to die for. Truly, a delight to one's eyes. I suggest you to visit this place during the monsoons, between the months of July and September.
